Turner Dolls

The Tin Man has a heart, the Cowardly Lion holds a courage award, the Scarecrow has his diploma, Dorothy has Toto in her basket, and they all stand on their own yellow brick road. Above them are Glenda, the good witch and her nemesis, the wicked witch of the west, but you’ll want to come to the museum to see the complete exhibit. It’s wonderful. It will be on permanent display in the first floor gallery.

Wizard of Oz collection

Virginia and Boyce Turner were inspired to create these beautiful dolls by The Wonderful Wizard of Oz , a 1900 children's novel written by author L. Frank Baum and illustrated by W. W. Denslow as well as the 1939 movie, The Wizard of Oz.
