Directions If you are visiting Lawrence County from the north or south, you can come into town on highway 37. Highway 37 will cross Highway 50 (known locally as 16th Street) which will bring you to the Bedford city square where the museum is located. If you are visiting from east or west of Lawrence County, highway 50 will bring you directly into town to the city square. You may also call the museum for directions.

Tours If you would like to schedule a tour of the gallery and/or genealogy library for your group, please contact the museum. Tours are led by qualified volunteers, board members, or our staff, depending on your scheduling needs. Tours can be arranged for any age group and nearly any group size (larger groups may need to be divided into smaller groups.) School-aged groups can also opt to participate in a scavenger hunt through the items in the gallery or library, which helps students become familiar and comfortable with the collections.

A group of Red Hatters pause during their tour of the museum's gallery.
