The Lawrence County Museum’s Twelfth Annual Brain Games are May 14, 16, 21 and 23 beginning at 6:30 each evening at the Little Theatre of Bedford. Thirty-two teams compete for a trophy and cash prizes in this head-to-head trivia competition over four exciting nights of play.

Come out on May 18 from 10-4 for an Antique Tractor Show in the museum parking lot!

There's a new exhibit opening May 18 in the Community Gallery: "My Experiences as an Army Chaplain: Rev. Dominic J. Altieri" focuses on the memorabilia and writings of Rev. Dominic J. Altieri, U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel and Catholic military chaplain during World War II and the Korean War. The exhibit will be on display until June 15. A reception in honor of the exhibit will be held on Memorial Day, May 27, from 11:30 to 1:00 p.m.

Welcome to our new World of Discovery Coordinator, Anna Westfall. The World of Discovery for kids 4-12 is in its second year, thanks to a generous grant from our sponsors Duke Energy. World of Discovery hours have also changed to 2-5 on Saturday. Bring the kids by any Saturday from 2-5 for interactive fun and learning.
